The Secretary’s report for December was reviewed and accepted.

The Treasurer’s report for December was reviewed and accepted.

Dot Bourque offered to teach computer skills at a monthly “Computer Café” on the second Monday of the month at 1 p.m. in the Meeting Hall beginning on April 8, 2019.  She also offered to teach another series of computer classes next January and February.

Old Business

Marty will send the Conservation Commission a check for $50 for the Pollinator Presentation by Donna Miller on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m.

The Trustees Annual Meeting to elect officers was held.  The following Trustee nominations were made for the upcoming year:  Nancy for Chairperson, Marty for Treasurer and Leslie for Secretary.  Each position was unanimously approved for another year.

The Director’s evaluation presentation was held.  Cathryn reviewed her objectives and goals for 2018.  She submitted a detailed written summary addressing each goal.  She also presented three new goals for 2019.  There will be a Trustee Meeting on Wednesday, April 3 at 4 p.m. The meeting will go into a nonpublic session to discuss Cathryn’s evaluation of her 2018 goals and the approval of her new goals for 2019.

The next movie, Bernie the Dolphin, will be on Saturday, 4-25-19 at 2 p.m. at the Meeting Room in the Town Hall.  Marty requested that the black curtains be used (Where are the black curtains housed?).  The April Trustee Meeting will be held after the movie at 4 p.m. in the library.

Nancy questioned if the Meet & Greet for the Select Board candidates should become an annual event.  It was unanimously decided that it should.    Marty felt it would be informative to also extend an invitation for a Meet & Greet for the November 2020 state representatives.

Nancy has been in contact with David Carroll.  Two dates were set, 9-27-19 and 10-4-19, both at 7 p.m. in the Meeting Hall.  David has requested to sell his merchandise at the presentation.

Marty will contact the Astronomical Society and set up a date for a presentation.

Nancy drafted a cover letter for an informational packet about the library for new residents.  It will be reviewed at our April meeting.  The pamphlet will also be reviewed and revised.

Set up for the Andrew Timmins presentation on 3-29-19 at 7 p.m. will be at 9 a.m. on Friday morning.  Marty will arrive at 6:30 p.m. to assist with the projector.  Nancy has purchased a gift card.

New Business

Cathryn requested to purchase a NH State Parks Pass for $105 to augment the Hiking Backpack.  Although the pass has some exclusions (The Flume, Cannon Tramway, Wallis Sands, Hampton, camping and parking meters), it would provide a day pass for 2 adults and 4 children.  All agreed to purchase the pass.

Cathryn asked for clarification and consistency on the name for the area we meet in the Town Hall for functions.  It was unanimous to call it the Meeting Hall.

Leslie will prepare the message board for the April movie and put it outside.  Leslie will write thank you notes for Andrew Timmins and Dot Bourque.

Nancy informed us that the Select Board is interested in having their June meeting in the library.  June 4, 2019 was chosen as a date (at their usual time of 6:30).

The trustees signed up for the NHLTA workshop on May 29, 2019 from 8-3:30 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown Hotel, 700 Elm Street, Manchester, NH.  Marty will register us and submit payment.

The meeting ended at 5:45 p.m.  The next meeting of the Webster Free Public Library will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Leslie Collins, Secretary
