Mission Statement

The Town of Webster is governed by a three member Select Board elected to staggered three year terms.  Per the provisions of NH RSA 41:8, the Select Board shall manage the prudential affairs of the Town and perform the duties by the law prescribed.  Each member of the Board takes an oath to faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties incumbent upon them as Select Board members according to the best of their abilities, and agreeably to the rules and regulations of the Constitution and laws of the State of New Hampshire.

It is the mission of the Board to provide proactive leadership and to act on behalf of all Webster residents to follow through with Town meeting directives; to oversee the health, safety, welfare, and other services by the Town of Webster departments, boards, commissions, and committees, as well as to ensure that those services are administered efficiently, responsibly, and cost effectively, with mutual courtesy and respect; to protect the best interest of the taxpayers; and to represent the voice of the people on local matters.
