Trustees Meeting

October 31^st, 2017

The meeting was called to order at 11:05 p.m.  Present were Nancy Picthall-French, Chairperson, Marty Bender, Treasurer, and Leslie Collins, Secretary.

The purpose of today’s meeting was to develop the budget for 2018.

Discussions and increases:

          The line item DVD, CD will now be called DVD, CD, and Downloadable and will include part of the Park Street fee.  Downloadable up +$143 ($501 up to $644)

          $450                     $480 (+$30, $37.50 bimonthly to $40.00 bimonthly, $10 per hour, has stayed the same for the last 5 years)

         Considerations:  Would Cathryn like to be reimbursed for joining the NH Library Association?  Would Marty like to upgrade Quicken to Quick Books so balances of individual line items are more accessible?

This budget will be presented by the Trustees to the Select Board on Nov. 6^th at a time to be determined.  Marty will confirm the time after speaking to Leslie Palmer and will let us know what time we can present the budget.

The meeting ended at 12:08 p.m.  The next Trustee Meeting of the Webster Free Public Library will be on Wednesday, November 29^th, 2017 at 4 p.m.
