Trustee Meeting Notes

Present:  Nancy Picthall French, Marty Bender, Cathryn Clarke-Dawe, Denise Lawless

Secretary's Report:  No changes

Treasurer's Report: End of year balance:  $2170.64  

Director’s Report:  Book Group correction-5.  Numbers Hoopla/Libby 3000+

Old Business:  .  

Webster Gardeners Group:  Nancy will check with Linda Clark and Donna Kenney about schedule and  speakers next year.  Possible January meeting:  movie about climate change called Kiss the Ground.

NHLTA:  no response on the transfer of names, so we might wait and change when we renew.

Genealogy Presentation:  Barbara Corliss would be happy to do another presentation.  Attendance was good for the first one.

January movie:  House of Gucci.  If we need to cancel because of weather, we will post it on the library facebook page, and Webster facebook page.

Record Keeping:  Minutes of meetings need to be kept indefinitely but other papers can be discarded after 5-7 years.  Marty will go through the closet and discard papers as necessary.

New Business:  

Cathryn:  should we continue home deliveries?  Yes and Nancy will continue to do this.

Revisit Planetarium membership:  Most passes are covering less than before, so the Planetarium cost may be justified.  Noted, too, two passes are seasonal.  The Plantarium is usually the most popular pass.  Decided to get it for one year.

Marty:  budget will be discussed last month.  No word from the people who are going to install the projector, so Marty has not ordered it.

Denise:  Mailed the thankyou gifts to the volunteers.

Nancy:  Nancy did some research on a battery operated snow blower.  We now know we can store it in the shed, and Cathryn will order it.

Move the old sandwich board to the stage for storage.meeting:
