The Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Committee Needs your Help!

Submit your photos of recent severe weather events


We are seeking recent (2012-present) digital photos that display how severe weather events and natural disasters have impacted the Town of Webster to place within the updated Webster Hazard Mitigation Plan 2018, currently in progress.

Please share with us your recent digital photos of (examples include): trees fallen down, roofs covered in high snow, flooded roads & driveways, powerlines tangled, riverbank erosion or high water danger, bridges inundated, washed out roads, culvert debris or backup, wildfire areas, dry agricultural conditions, or other severe weather conditions.

Selected photos will be placed into the updated Hazard Mitigation Plan. One exceptional photo will be chosen for the cover of the document. WILL IT BE YOURS? State, municipal, private and personal photos are acceptable, although we won’t use photos that display identifiable people or private homes. Submitters automatically provide us with permission to use their photos in the Plan – and we will give you photo credit if we use yours!

What are we looking at?? Be sure to indicate DATE, LOCATION and the EVENT of the digital photo, either in the filename itself or send the information along in an accompanying email to Leslie Palmer at
