In 1863 there were nine School Districts (houses) being shown as: Sweatt's Mills, Pleasant Street, Corser Hill, Battle Street, Clough and Sanborn Hill, Little Hill, White Plain, Bashan and Putney Hill. Those remaining and used today are as follows:
1. The Sweatt's Mills schoolhouse now located on 97 Deer Meadow Road, no longer resembling the buidling it once was, is being used as a garage facility by John Little.
2. The Corser Hill schoolhouse is owned by Faith Anderson of 1245 Battle Street, having been moved to that location in 1952.
3. The Bashan schoolhouse is owned by Nancy M. Rideout of 6 Bashan Hollow Road, the only remaining schoolhouse to remain in the same location.
4. The last remaining schoolhouse is Putney Hill, since relocated to Putney Hill on Route 103 going to Hopkinton Village from Contoocook in
1952, is the only schoolhouse to leave Webster and continue in use today.
