The Town Clerk’s duties are vast. Some of the general duties include
registering and titling motor vehicles, licensing dogs, issuing marriage
licenses as well as birth, marriage, divorce, civil union dissolution and death
certificates and issuing landfill permits. The office also administers
elections, absentee ballots and voter registrations. The clerk
maintains Town records, IRS and other liens, UCCs, and processes
wetlands applications and oaths of office.
