The Town currently is using the flood maps from 1993. However, there is a Zoning Amendment on the 2008 Ballot to update "Article IX Flood Plain Development" to meet current FEMA regulations with the expectation that new flood maps will be made available later in 2008. The Board of Selectmen will be allowed to adopt the maps when they are prepared through a resolution. New full scale maps have been received for Town Officials to review, but not yet adopted. All information will be posted in the new Zoning Ordinance as soon as it is ready.
